“I chose a career in counseling, because I have a heart for hurting individuals and have always been told that I’m a good listener. I love working with women, because, as a woman I know and understand some of the struggles women face. I have a creative/artistic side that I bring into therapy which, especially in group work, keeps things interesting and helps present a unique perspective from which to view what might have become an old issue or one no longer noticed.” ~Debbra
Deb and her husband, David, have been married since 1991 and have two young adult children. Deb enjoys leading women’s bible studies at church, seeing clients have those “aha!” moments, reading “whatever I can get my hands on!”, painting, spending time having fun or discussing spiritual/life issues with friends, “chasing sunsets” and taking long quiet walks in nature, watching birds and other critters 🙂
