Robyn ElliottJedidiah – God Cherishes You

This two-part, 3 hour interactive presentation provides time to identify the struggles that hinder adolescent girls from embracing their identity in Christ and focus on the cures.

Presenter: Robyn Elliott, LMSW

Session one is Identity Fraud and identifies the different traps and struggles that entangle adolescent girls and lead to attempts to please others through performance and approval.
Session two is Identity Remedy following up traps and approval seeking behaviors with exploration of ways to replace these thoughts and behaviors.  Each girl is challenged to identify the struggles she experiences and celebrate who she is, as she works on implementing a new focus on cherishing her God given characteristics.  Scripture is woven through the sessions to remind each girl that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that God loves her just as she is.
